- 🎃 1/4 pumpkin

- 50g ground pork
Seasonings
- 1 tsp grated ginger
- 2 tbsp sake
- 🍬 1 tsp sugar
- 2 tbsp concentrated soy sauce
- 1/2 tbsp mirin
- 💧 150ml water
Thickening Agent
- 💧 2 tsp water
- 1 tsp cornstarch
ÉTAPES
Cut the pumpkin into bite-sized pieces and place them in a microwave-safe container. Add 1 tbsp of water (not listed in ingredients), cover loosely with plastic wrap, and microwave at 600W for 5 minutes.
In a pot, mix the ground pork and all the seasonings (ginger, sake, sugar, soy sauce, mirin, and water). Add the microwaved pumpkin and cook over medium heat, skimming off any foam, for about 4 minutes.
Once the pumpkin is tender, add the cornstarch slurry (water and cornstarch) and mix well to thicken the sauce.
