INGRÉDIENTS
Fish
- 🐟 2 slices yellowtail
Vegetables
- 🥕 2 turnips
- Leaves from 2 turnips
Seasoning
- 🧂 Pinch of salt
- Potato starch as needed
- 1 tsp sesame oil for turnips
- 1 tbsp sesame oil for yellowtail
Sauce
- 1 tbsp sake
- 1 tbsp mirin
- 🍬 1 tsp sugar
- 🧂 1.5 tbsp soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp grated ginger
ÉTAPES
Cut the yellowtail in half and sprinkle with salt. Pat dry with a paper towel and coat both sides with potato starch.
Separate the turnip leaves, peel the turnips, and cut them into 6 pieces. Slice the leaves into 3 cm widths.
Heat 1 tsp sesame oil in a frying pan, add the turnips, and stir-fry for about 2 minutes until softened. Remove from the pan.
Heat 1 tbsp sesame oil in the same pan, add the yellowtail, and cook over medium heat until browned on one side. Flip and cook until fully done.
Add the turnips, turnip leaves, and sauce ingredients to the pan. Stir-fry everything together until well combined.
