Meat
- 150g thinly sliced pork
Vegetables
- 🧅 1/2 onion (100g)
- 1/2 red bell pepper (75g)
- 150g konjac (pre-treated)
Seasoning
- 🧂 A pinch of salt and pepper
- 2 tsp potato starch
- 1/2 tbsp sesame oil
Sweet and Sour Sauce
- 1 tbsp sake
- 🍬 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tbsp vinegar
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 🍅 1 tbsp ketchup
- 💧 50ml water
- 1/2 tbsp potato starch
ÉTAPES
Cut the konjac into bite-sized pieces and wrap each piece with thinly sliced pork.
Season the wrapped konjac with a pinch of salt and pepper.
Coat the wrapped konjac lightly with potato starch.
Heat sesame oil in a pan and pan-fry the wrapped konjac until golden brown.
Add chopped onion and red bell pepper to the pan and stir-fry until softened.
Mix all sweet and sour sauce ingredients in a bowl and pour into the pan.
Simmer the dish until the sauce thickens and coats the ingredients evenly.
