INGRÉDIENTS
Meat
- 250g pork shoulder (for tonkatsu)
Fruit
- 🍍 100g pineapple
Vegetables
- 🧅 1/4 onion (50g), diced
- 1/2 red paprika (75g), diced
Oil
- Enough salad oil for frying
Seasoning for Pork
- 1 tbsp sake
- 1 tsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp grated ginger
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
Sweet and Sour Sauce
- 1 tbsp sake
- 🍬 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 tbsp vinegar
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 🍅 2 tbsp ketchup
- 1/2 tsp chicken broth powder
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 💧 150ml water
ÉTAPES
Cut pork into 2cm cubes and marinate with sake, soy sauce, ginger, and cornstarch for 10 minutes.
Dice pineapple, onion, and red paprika into 2cm cubes.
Mix all ingredients for the sweet and sour sauce in a bowl.
Heat salad oil to 170°C in a pan and fry onion and paprika for 1-2 minutes. Remove and fry pork for 3 minutes until cooked.
Clean the pan, add the sweet and sour sauce, and heat until thickened. Add pork, pineapple, onion, and paprika, stirring to coat evenly.
