INGRÉDIENTS
Meat
- 200g ground pork
Vegetables
- 1/2 bag bean sprouts
- Chopped green onion, as needed
Seasoning
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 1/2 tbsp salad oil
- 1/2 tbsp sake
- 🧂 1/3 tsp salt
- A pinch of pepper
Sweet and Sour Sauce
- 🍬 1 tbsp sugar
- 2 tbsp vinegar
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1/3 tsp chicken stock powder
- 1/2 tbsp cornstarch
- 💧 150ml water
ÉTAPES
Mix bean sprouts and cornstarch in a bowl until coated.
In another bowl, mix ground pork and seasonings (sake, salt, pepper) until sticky, then add the coated bean sprouts and mix. Divide into 8 portions and shape into balls.
Heat salad oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Add the meatballs and cook until browned. Flip, cover, and steam on low heat for 3 minutes. Remove from pan.
Wipe the pan with a paper towel, then add sweet and sour sauce ingredients. Heat on low while stirring until thickened.
Add the meatballs back to the pan and coat them with the sauce.
Serve on a plate and garnish with chopped green onions.
