    • 1/2 tbsp soy sauce
    • 1 tbsp vinegar
    • 🍅 1 tbsp ketchup
    • 💧 2 tbsp water

Cut the chicken thigh into bite-sized pieces.

Place the chicken pieces in a plastic bag with the marinade ingredients (sake, garlic, ginger, salt, and pepper) and massage to coat. Add cornstarch and mix to coat evenly.

Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Place the chicken pieces skin-side down and fry for about 2 minutes until golden. Flip and fry for another 2–3 minutes until cooked through.

Turn off the heat and remove excess oil from the pan using a paper towel. Add the sweet and sour sauce and stir-fry over medium heat until the chicken is well coated.
