Main
- 🐟 200g cod fillets
- 🥦 1/2 head cauliflower
- 🧅 1 green onion, sliced
- 🧂 Pinch of salt and pepper
- Potato starch, as needed
- 2 tbsp sesame oil
Sauce
- 1 tbsp sake
- 🍬 1/2 tbsp sugar
- 1 tbsp vinegar
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 🍅 2 tbsp ketchup
- 1/2 tsp chicken stock powder
- 💧 2 tbsp water
- 1/2 tbsp potato starch
ÉTAPES
Separate cauliflower into small florets and microwave with 1 tbsp water for 90 seconds. Drain and slice green onion thinly.
Cut cod into 4 pieces, season with salt and pepper, and coat with potato starch.
Mix all sauce ingredients in a bowl to prepare the sweet and sour sauce.
Heat sesame oil in a pan, fry cod on medium heat for 2–3 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove from pan.
Wipe excess oil from the pan, add cauliflower, and stir-fry briefly on medium heat.
Add the sweet and sour sauce to the pan, cook until thickened, then add fried cod and stir to coat evenly.
Plate the dish and garnish with sliced green onion.
