INGRÉDIENTS
Meat
- 🥩 150g thinly sliced beef
Vegetables
- 🥔 300g daikon, peeled and quartered
- 🧄 1 clove minced garlic
- 2 slices ginger
- 🧅 Chopped green onion, as needed
Cooking Oil
- 1 tsp salad oil
Seasoning
- 2 tbsp sake
- 2 tbsp mirin
- 🍬 1/2 tbsp sugar
- 🧂 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 💧 200ml water
ÉTAPES
Peel and quarter the daikon, then cut into 1.5cm thick slices. Mince the garlic.
Cut the beef into bite-sized pieces.
Boil the daikon in water until tender, about 5 minutes. Drain and set aside.
Heat salad oil and garlic in a pan over medium heat until fragrant. Add beef and cook until browned.
Add daikon and stir-fry for 1 minute until coated with oil.
Add sake, mirin, sugar, soy sauce, water, and ginger. Cover and simmer on low heat for 10 minutes.
Uncover and cook on medium heat until the sauce thickens and almost evaporates.
Serve on a plate and garnish with chopped green onions.
