INGRÉDIENTS
Chicken
- 🍗 300g chicken thigh
Vegetables
- 1/4 bunch mizuna
Coating
- 3 tbsp potato starch
- 3 tbsp all-purpose flour
Oil
- Enough salad oil for frying
Sweet Chili Mayo Sauce
- 🧂 1/2 tbsp sugar
- 1/2 tbsp vinegar
- 2 tbsp mayonnaise
- 1 tsp doubanjiang
- 🧄 A pinch of garlic paste
Chicken Marinade
- 1 tbsp sake
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 🧄 A pinch of garlic paste
ÉTAPES
Mix all ingredients for the sweet chili mayo sauce in a bowl.
Cut the mizuna into 3cm pieces after removing the roots.
Cut the chicken thigh into bite-sized pieces.
Mix the marinade ingredients in a bowl and add the chicken pieces. Let them marinate for 10 minutes.
Add potato starch and flour to the marinated chicken and mix until evenly coated.
Heat salad oil in a frying pan to 170°C and fry the chicken pieces for about 5 minutes until golden and cooked through.
Serve the fried chicken and mizuna on a plate, and drizzle with the sweet chili mayo sauce.
