INGRÉDIENTS
Vegetables
- 🎃 1 whole pumpkin
- 🧅 1/2 onion, thinly sliced
Seasoning
- 🧂 3 pinches of salt
Flour
- 2 tbsp pancake flour
ÉTAPES
Place the whole pumpkin in a plastic bag and microwave for 2 minutes to soften for easier cutting.
Cut the softened pumpkin in half and scoop out the seeds using a spoon.
Peel the pumpkin skin using a peeler.
Thinly slice the pumpkin into strips and then julienne.
Julienne the onion into thin strips.
Combine the julienned pumpkin and onion in a bowl, and sprinkle with 3 pinches of salt.
Mix the ingredients with gloved hands and let sit for 10 minutes to soften and release moisture.
Add 2 tbsp of pancake flour to the mixture and mix thoroughly.
Heat a frying pan with sufficient cooking oil. Scoop small portions of the mixture with a spoon and shape into pancakes.
Cook the pancakes until golden brown on both sides.
Serve the pancakes on a plate and enjoy!
