INGRÉDIENTS
Meat
- 🐖 50g thinly sliced pork belly
Vegetables
- 🥕 1/3 carrot (50g), sliced
- 🥔 5cm daikon (150g), sliced
- 10cm burdock root (30g), sliced
Other
- 1/2 block konjac (125g), sliced
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 2 tbsp miso
Seasoning
- 💧 300cc water
- 1/2 tsp Japanese dashi powder
- 100cc sweet sake
ÉTAPES
Cut daikon and carrot into quarters lengthwise, then slice into 2–3mm pieces. Scrape burdock root with the back of a knife, slice diagonally, and soak in water. Slice konjac thinly and boil in water for 2–3 minutes. Drain.
Cut pork belly into bite-sized pieces.
Heat sesame oil in a pot over medium heat. Add pork and cook until the color changes.
Add daikon, carrot, burdock, and konjac. Stir until coated with oil.
Add water, dashi powder, and sweet sake. Bring to a boil, cover, and simmer on low heat for 10 minutes until vegetables are tender. Stir in miso and mix briefly.
