Fish
- 🐟 200g swordfish fillet
Seaweed
- 1/2 sheet nori
Seasoning
- 🧂 Pinch of salt
- Pinch of pepper
Coating
- 2 tbsp potato starch
Oil
- Enough salad oil for frying
Marinade
- 1 tbsp sake
- 1 tbsp mirin
- 🧂 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp grated ginger
ÉTAPES
Cut the nori sheet into 6 equal strips along the longer edge.
Slice the swordfish into three equal pieces vertically, sprinkle with salt, and let sit for 5 minutes. Pat dry and season with pepper.
Mix the marinade ingredients (sake, mirin, soy sauce, ginger) in a bowl. Add the swordfish, cover with plastic wrap, and refrigerate for 10 minutes.
Wrap each piece of swordfish with a strip of nori. Repeat to make 6 pieces. Coat each piece with potato starch.
Heat salad oil in a frying pan to 170°C (1cm depth). Fry the wrapped swordfish for 3–4 minutes, turning until golden brown.
