INGRÉDIENTS
Meat
- 🍗 2 bone-in chicken thighs
Vegetables
- 🥕 1/3 carrot, sliced
- 🥔 2 potatoes, halved
- 🥬 2 cabbage leaves
Seasoning
- 🧂 Pinch of salt and pepper
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Sauce
- 2 tbsp sake
- 🍯 3 tbsp honey
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp grated ginger
- 🧄 1 tsp grated garlic
- 💧 100 ml water
ÉTAPES
Make cuts along the chicken bones and rub with salt and pepper.
Slice the carrot into 5mm pieces and cut into star shapes. Halve the potatoes and soak them in water for 5 minutes, then drain.
Heat olive oil in a pan and sear the chicken on medium heat until golden brown on both sides.
Mix the sauce ingredients in a rice cooker pot. Place the chicken skin-side down, add cabbage as a lid, and top with potatoes and carrots. Cook using the regular rice setting.
Transfer the sauce to a pan and simmer on medium heat until thickened. Coat the chicken in the sauce and serve on a bed of cabbage with potatoes and carrots.
