Bread
- 🍞 2 table rolls
Meat
- 300g ground meat
Vegetables
- 🧅 1/2 onion, minced
- 🥬 1 lettuce leaf
- 🍅 2 slices of tomato (1cm thick)
Condiments
- 🧴 2 tbsp mayonnaise
Meat Mixture
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 🥚 1/2 beaten egg
- 🧂 Pinch of salt and pepper
Teriyaki Sauce
- 2 tbsp sake
- 2 tbsp mirin
- 🍬 1 tbsp sugar
- 🧂 2 tbsp soy sauce
ÉTAPES
Mince the onion.
In a bowl, mix ground meat, minced onion, breadcrumbs, beaten egg, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Knead until sticky. Divide into two portions and shape into patties matching the size of the table rolls.
Heat a frying pan over medium heat and cook the patties until browned on one side. Flip and cook on low heat until fully cooked. Remove from the pan.
Wipe the pan clean with a paper towel. Add sake, mirin, sugar, and soy sauce to the pan. Heat on low and simmer until thickened to make the teriyaki sauce.
Return the patties to the pan and coat them with the teriyaki sauce.
Slice the table rolls in half horizontally. Layer lettuce, teriyaki patties, mayonnaise, and tomato slices on the bottom halves. Cover with the top halves of the rolls to assemble the burgers.
