- 🐟 200g mackerel fillets
Vegetables
- 🧅 1 green onion, 165g
Seasoning
- 🧂 1/3 tsp salt
- 1/2 tbsp salad oil
- 1 tbsp sake
- 2 tbsp mirin
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp grated ginger
ÉTAPES
Cut the mackerel into thirds. Sprinkle with salt and let sit for 5 minutes, then pat dry with kitchen paper.
Cut the green onion into 4cm pieces, removing the root and green parts.
Heat salad oil in a frying pan, place the mackerel skin-side down, and add the green onion. Cook on medium heat until browned, then flip and cook on low heat for 3-4 minutes.
Add the seasoning mixture (sake, mirin, soy sauce, ginger) and bring to a boil. Coat the mackerel and green onion while simmering until the sauce thickens.
