INGRÉDIENTS
Main Ingredients
- 🥡 1/2 block firm tofu
- 🍚 155g tteokbokki rice cakes
- 1/2 cup cornstarch
- 🧂 Pinch of salt
- Pinch of pepper
Sauce Ingredients
- 3 tbsp curry powder
- 💧 2/3 cup water
- 🍬 1/2 tbsp sugar
- 🧄 1/2 tbsp minced garlic
- 🥢 1 tbsp soy sauce
ÉTAPES
Cut the firm tofu into cubes and season with salt and pepper. Let it sit for 10 minutes.
Place the tofu in a plastic bag with cornstarch and shake to coat evenly.
Heat a pan with 5 tbsp of oil and fry the coated tofu on low heat until golden brown. Turn the tofu to cook evenly.
Remove the tofu and use the same pan to lightly toast the tteokbokki rice cakes until slightly crispy.
In a pot, mix all the sauce ingredients and dissolve the curry powder completely.
Bring the sauce to a boil over medium heat.
Add the fried tofu and toasted rice cakes to the sauce and stir to coat evenly.
Simmer briefly until the sauce is absorbed and the dish is ready to serve.
