INGRÉDIENTS
Main
- 300g firm tofu
- Potato starch, as needed
- 3 tbsp salad oil
Tartar Sauce
- 🧅 1/4 onion, minced
- 🥚 1 boiled egg, minced
- 4 tbsp mayonnaise
- 🍋 1 tsp lemon juice
- 🧂 1/2 tsp sugar
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Sauce
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 🧂 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 tbsp vinegar
Garnish
- Dried parsley, as needed
ÉTAPES
Wrap tofu in kitchen paper, place in a microwave-safe container, and heat at 600W for 3 minutes. Press to remove excess water.
Mince the onion and boiled egg.
Mix all tartar sauce ingredients in a bowl.
Cut tofu into bite-sized pieces and coat with potato starch.
Heat salad oil in a frying pan over medium heat and fry tofu until golden brown, turning occasionally.
Remove excess oil with kitchen paper, add sauce ingredients, and simmer over low heat until tofu is coated.
Plate the tofu, drizzle with tartar sauce, and sprinkle dried parsley on top.
