INGRÉDIENTS
Main Ingredients
- 20-25 pieces rice cakes
- 🧅 1/2 onion, chopped
- 1 bell pepper, chopped
- 🧀 1 slice cheddar cheese
- 🧀 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese
- 2 tbsp mayonnaise
Sauce Ingredients
- 1 tbsp gochujang
- 3 tbsp ketchup
- 🧂 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 🍬 1 tbsp sugar
ÉTAPES
Chop 1/2 onion and 1 bell pepper into small pieces.
In a pan, combine the chopped onion, bell pepper, gochujang, ketchup, soy sauce, and sugar. Mix well and simmer over medium heat until the sauce thickens.
In another pan, heat some oil and lightly fry the rice cakes until golden. If the rice cakes are hard, blanch them in hot water before frying.
Place the fried rice cakes on a plate and pour the prepared sauce over them.
Drizzle mayonnaise over the sauce (optional).
Top with a slice of cheddar cheese and a generous amount of mozzarella cheese. Add 3-5 tbsp of water around the edges of the pan to prevent burning.
Cover the pan and cook on low heat until the cheese melts. Alternatively, use an oven or microwave to melt the cheese.
