Cooking Oil
- Enough salad oil for frying
Marinade
- 1 tbsp sake
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 🧄 A small amount of grated garlic
Coating
- 3 tbsp potato starch
- 3 tbsp all-purpose flour
ÉTAPES
Bend the joints of the chicken wings in various directions and cut them with kitchen scissors.
Make cuts along the two bones of the middle wing section and remove the thinner bone by pulling it outward.
Peel the meat off the remaining bone while flipping the skin inside out to form a tulip shape. Adjust the shape as needed.
Mix the marinade ingredients in a bowl and massage them into the chicken wings. Let them sit for about 10 minutes.
Mix the coating ingredients in a separate bowl and coat each piece of chicken evenly.
Heat salad oil to 170°C in a pot and fry the coated chicken wings for 4–5 minutes until golden and cooked through.
