INGRÉDIENTS
Rice Base
- 🍚 150g rice
- 50g barley
- 1 tbsp sake
Topping
- 🍚 1 serving cooked barley rice
- 🥑 1/4 avocado
- 🐟 40g canned tuna
- 🧂 a dash of soy sauce
- to taste mayonnaise
- to taste wasabi paste
ÉTAPES
Wash the rice and drain. Place it in the rice cooker and add water up to the 1-cup mark.
Add the barley and twice its weight in water (100g or 1/2 cup in this case). Mix gently and let it soak for at least 30 minutes.
Remove 1 tbsp of water from the rice cooker, then add sake and mix. Start the rice cooker and cook as usual.
Once cooked, fluff the rice from the bottom to mix evenly.
For the topping, place a serving of cooked barley rice in a bowl. Top with diced avocado and drained canned tuna.
Drizzle with soy sauce, add mayonnaise to taste, and optionally top with wasabi paste.
