Main Ingredients
- 🐟 1 can (150g) canned tuna
- 🧅 1/2 onion, chopped
- 🥕 1/3 carrot, chopped
- 🧄 1/2 tbsp minced garlic
- A pinch of pepper
- 🧂 1 pinch of salt
- 🥚 1 egg
- 🍞 2/3 cup breadcrumbs
Sauce Ingredients
- 5 tbsp steak sauce
- 🍅 1 tbsp ketchup
- 1 tbsp corn syrup
- 💧 4 tbsp water
ÉTAPES
Drain the oil from the canned tuna and place it in a bowl. Prepare chopped onion (1/2) and carrot (1/3), and add them to the bowl along with minced garlic (1/2 tbsp), a pinch of pepper, and a pinch of salt.
Add 2/3 cup breadcrumbs and 1 egg to the mixture.
Shape the mixture into round, flat patties of your desired size.
Heat oil in a pan and fry the patties until golden brown on both sides.
Prepare the sauce by combining 5 tbsp steak sauce, 1 tbsp ketchup, 1 tbsp corn syrup, and 4 tbsp water in a pan. Simmer until thickened.
Pour the sauce over the cooked tuna patties and garnish with mustard sauce if desired.
