INGRÉDIENTS
Vegetables
- 1 turnip, peeled and sliced
Meat
- 50g sliced pork
Seasoning
- 1 tsp sake
- 2 tsp cornstarch
- 1 tsp sesame oil
Soup Base
- 200cc water
- 1 tsp sake
- 1/2 tsp chicken stock powder
- Pinch of salt and pepper
ÉTAPES
Separate turnip leaves from the root. Peel and slice the root, and chop the leaves into bite-sized pieces.
In a bowl, mix pork slices with sake and cornstarch until evenly coated.
In a pot, combine water, sake, chicken stock powder, and salt and pepper. Bring to a boil, then add turnip slices and pork. Cook over medium heat.
Once the pork is cooked, add the turnip leaves and simmer briefly.
Turn off the heat and stir in sesame oil before serving.
