INGRÉDIENTS
Rice
- 🍚 2 cups soaked rice
Fish
- 🐟 200g yellowtail fillet
Vegetables
- 🍄 100g maitake mushrooms
- 2 pieces ginger, julienned
- 🧅 Chopped green onion, as needed
Seasoning
- Water, as needed
- 1 tsp yuzu pepper
- 1 tbsp sake
- 1 tsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp mirin
- 1/2 tsp Japanese dashi powder
ÉTAPES
Break maitake mushrooms into small pieces by hand. Julienne the ginger.
Pat the yellowtail fillet dry with a paper towel and cut into 1.5cm cubes. Mix the yellowtail with sake and soy sauce for 5 minutes, then drain.
Add soaked rice, dashi powder, mirin, soy sauce, and sake to the rice cooker. Fill with water up to the 2-cup mark, mix well, and flatten the rice. Layer ginger, yellowtail, and maitake mushrooms on top, then cook as usual.
Once cooked, mix in yuzu pepper gently. Serve in bowls and garnish with chopped green onion.
