- 🍚 1 cup of soaked rice
Canned Goods
- 🐟 1 can of sardines (100g)
Vegetables
- 1 piece of ginger, julienned
- 🧅 5g of chopped green onion
Condiments
- 1/2 tablespoon of white sesame seeds
Liquids
- 💧 Water as required
Seasonings
- 1 tablespoon of sake
- 1/2 tablespoon of mirin
- 🧂 1/2 teaspoon of soy sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon of yuzu pepper
ÉTAPES
Julienne the ginger. Separate the sardines from the canned liquid.
In a rice cooker, combine the soaked rice, sardine liquid, and seasonings (sake, mirin, soy sauce, yuzu pepper). Add water up to the 1-cup mark and mix well.
Flatten the rice, then layer the sardines and julienned ginger on top. Cook using the regular rice setting.
Once cooked, add white sesame seeds and chopped green onion. Mix gently to combine.
