BAHAN-BAHAN
Meat
- 200g ground pork
Vegetables
- 5 cabbage leaves
Cooking Oil
- 1 tsp salad oil for frying
- sufficient salad oil for pan-frying
Wrapper
- 8 spring roll wrappers
Seasonings
- 1 tbsp sake
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp chicken stock powder
- 1 tsp grated ginger
Binding Mixture
- 1 tbsp flour
- 2 tbsp water
LANGKAH
Thinly slice the cabbage.
Heat 1 tsp salad oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Add ground pork and stir-fry for about 3 minutes until the meat changes color. Add cabbage and stir-fry until softened, then add the seasonings (sake, soy sauce, chicken stock powder, and grated ginger) and mix well. Transfer to a tray to cool.
Place the filling on the spring roll wrappers, roll them up, and seal the edges with the flour-water mixture.
Heat sufficient salad oil in a frying pan to about 1cm depth at 170°C. Pan-fry the spring rolls for about 4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
