BAHAN-BAHAN

- 150g lotus root
- 1 tbsp potato starch
- Enough salad oil for frying

- 1 tbsp powdered cheese
- A pinch of black pepper
LANGKAH
Slice the lotus root into 2mm thick pieces, soak in water, and pat dry. Place the lotus root and potato starch into a plastic bag, seal, and shake to coat evenly.
Heat salad oil in a frying pan to 160°C, ensuring the oil is about 1cm deep. Fry the lotus root slices until they turn a light golden brown.
Transfer the fried lotus root to a bowl, add powdered cheese and black pepper, and toss to coat evenly.
