BAHAN-BAHAN
Protein
- 🍗 1 piece (250g) chicken thigh
Vegetables
- 1 section (150g) lotus root
- 2 bell peppers
- 🧅 1/2 stalk green onion
Starch
- Potato starch as needed
Oil
- 1.5 tbsp salad oil
Nanban Sauce
- 1 tbsp sake
- 🍬 2 tsp sugar
- 1 tbsp vinegar
- 🧂 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp grated ginger
- 1 tsp sliced red chili
LANGKAH
Cut the chicken into bite-sized pieces and coat with potato starch.
Slice the lotus root into bite-sized pieces, soak in water, drain, and coat with potato starch.
Cut the green onion and bell peppers into bite-sized pieces.
Heat salad oil in a frying pan, add bell peppers, and pan-fry on medium heat for about 1 minute. Remove and set aside.
Add chicken and lotus root to the pan and cook on medium heat, flipping until browned. Add green onion and cook until browned.
Add the Nanban sauce ingredients to the pan, stir to combine, and return the bell peppers to the pan. Mix well.
