BAHAN-BAHAN
Oil
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
Seasoning
- 1 tbsp sake
- 🍬 1 tsp sugar
- 1/2 tbsp soy sauce
- to taste black sesame seeds
Main Ingredients
- 🍗 100g chicken thigh
- 50g lotus root
- 2 tbsp potato starch
Salad
- 1 slice ham
- 🥬 1 leaf cabbage
- 1 tbsp sesame dressing
- 🧂 to taste salt and pepper
Side Dish
- 🌱 2-3 green beans
- 1 crab stick
- 1/2 tsp grated ginger
- 1 tsp concentrated noodle sauce
LANGKAH
Cut the lotus root into bite-sized pieces and soak in water. Drain well. Cut the chicken into bite-sized pieces.
Place the lotus root and chicken in a plastic bag. Add potato starch and shake until evenly coated.
Cut the cabbage into bite-sized pieces and slice the ham into 8 pieces.
Trim the green beans and cut into bite-sized pieces. Shred the crab stick.
Heat sesame oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Add the lotus root and chicken, frying until crispy. Push to one side of the pan.
Add cabbage, ham, green beans, and crab stick to the pan. Pour sake over and cover with a lid. Steam on low heat for 2 minutes.
Remove the green beans and crab stick, as well as the ham and cabbage, into separate bowls to cool.
Add sugar, soy sauce, and black sesame seeds to the chicken and lotus root. Stir-fry to coat evenly.
Mix the green beans and crab stick with grated ginger and noodle sauce.
Mix the ham and cabbage with sesame dressing and season with salt and pepper. Plate everything and serve.
