BAHAN-BAHAN
Meat
- ๐ 300g pork belly block
Vegetables
- ๐ฅฌ 300g napa cabbage (1/8 head)
- ๐ง 1 green onion (140g)
- ๐ 2 shiitake mushrooms
Seasoning
- ๐ง Pinch of salt and pepper
- 1 tsp salad oil
Sauce
- ๐ง 300cc water
- ๐ถ 1 tbsp sake
- ๐ง 1/2 tsp salt
- ๐ง 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 slices ginger
Thickener
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- ๐ง 1 tbsp water
LANGKAH
Cut the shiitake mushrooms into halves and slices. Chop napa cabbage into 4cm pieces and green onion into 3cm pieces.
Slice pork belly into 1.5cm pieces and season with salt and pepper.
Heat salad oil in a pan over medium heat and sear pork belly for 2 minutes on each side. Remove excess fat with a paper towel.
Add green onion, napa cabbage, shiitake mushrooms, and sauce ingredients. Bring to a boil, cover, and simmer on low heat for 7โ8 minutes. Stir and simmer for another 7โ8 minutes until cooked.
Add cornstarch slurry and cook over medium heat until thickened.
