- 🧅 1/2 onion, sliced

- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 🧂 1/2 tbsp sugar
- 1 tbsp corn syrup

- 1 tbsp chili powder
- 💧 100-120 ml water
LANGKAH
Prepare the sauce by mixing soy sauce, sugar, corn syrup, minced garlic, and chili powder.
Slice 1/2 onion thinly.
Cut the eggplants in half and score them lightly.
Heat a pan over medium heat, melt butter, and grill the eggplants until golden brown.
In the same pan, sauté the onions until softened.
Add fish sauce to the pan and stir-fry the onions until fragrant.
Pour the prepared sauce into the pan and add water. Simmer until slightly thickened.
Serve cooked rice in a bowl, layer sautéed onions, grilled eggplants, and drizzle the sauce over the top.
