BAHAN-BAHAN
Vegetables
- π₯ 1/4 carrot, sliced thinly
- π 2 shiitake mushrooms, sliced
Noodles
- 10g vermicelli noodles
Oil
- 2 tsp sesame oil
Fish Paste Dumplings
- π 100g white fish paste
- π§ 50g firm tofu
- π§ 1 green onion, finely chopped
- π§ 2 tsp soy sauce
- 1.5 tbsp potato starch
Seasoning
- 1 tbsp mirin
- 1 tbsp sake
- π§ 1.5 tbsp soy sauce
- π§ 500ml water
Thickening Agent
- 1 tsp potato starch
- π§ 2 tsp water
LANGKAH
Slice the carrot into thin pieces and the shiitake mushrooms into thin slices. Finely chop the green onion.
In a bowl, mix all the fish paste dumpling ingredients (fish paste, tofu, green onion, soy sauce, and potato starch) until smooth.
In a pot, bring the seasoning ingredients (mirin, sake, soy sauce, and water) to a boil. Scoop the fish paste mixture into small balls and drop them into the boiling liquid. Once boiling again, skim off any foam, cover, and simmer on low heat for 7β8 minutes.
Add the carrot, shiitake mushrooms, and vermicelli noodles to the pot. Stir, cover, and cook on medium heat for 2β3 minutes until the vegetables and noodles are tender.
Stir in the thickening agent (potato starch mixed with water) to thicken the soup. Drizzle sesame oil over the soup before serving.
