BAHAN-BAHAN
Main
- 🍗 1 piece (250g) chicken thigh
- 50g mizuna
- 🧅 55g green onion
- 1 myoga
- 🌾 3 tbsp flour
- 3 tbsp potato starch
- Enough vegetable oil for frying
Seasoning
- 1 tbsp sake
- 🧂 Pinch of salt and pepper
- 🧄 1/2 tsp garlic paste
- 1/2 tsp ginger paste
Sauce
- 1 tbsp vinegar
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1.5 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp ginger paste
LANGKAH
Cut mizuna into 1cm pieces, slice green onion thinly, and cut myoga into thin slices.
Score chicken thigh lightly, season with sake, salt, pepper, garlic paste, and ginger paste. Let marinate for 10 minutes.
Mix mizuna, green onion, myoga, and sauce ingredients in a bowl to prepare the aromatic vegetable sauce.
Mix flour and potato starch in a tray and coat the marinated chicken evenly.
Heat vegetable oil to 170°C in a pan, fry chicken skin-side down for 3 minutes, then flip and fry for another 3-4 minutes until cooked through.
Cut fried chicken into bite-sized pieces, plate, and drizzle with the aromatic vegetable sauce.
