BAHAN-BAHAN
Main Ingredients
- 1 piece (200g) atsuage
- 1 piece (30g) mentaiko
- 🧀 20g shredded pizza cheese
- 1/2 sheet nori
Cooking Oil
- 1 tsp salad oil
Seasoning
- 1 tbsp sake
- 1/2 tbsp mirin
- 1/2 tbsp soy sauce
LANGKAH
Pat dry the atsuage with paper towels to remove excess oil. Cut into 6 equal pieces and make a slit halfway through each piece. Cut the nori into 6 vertical strips.
Remove the contents of the mentaiko by making a slit. Mix the mentaiko with shredded pizza cheese in a bowl to create the filling.
Stuff each slit in the atsuage with 1/6 of the mentaiko cheese mixture. Wrap each piece with a strip of nori. Repeat for all 6 pieces.
Heat salad oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Place the stuffed atsuage pieces in the pan and cook until golden brown. Flip and cover with a lid, cooking on low heat for about 5 minutes until the cheese melts. Add the seasoning mixture and coat evenly.
