BAHAN-BAHAN
Batter
- 100g okonomiyaki flour
- 🥚 1 egg
- 💧 300cc water
Filling
- 🐙 50g boiled octopus
- 🧅 1 stalk green onion (green part)
- 15g pickled ginger
- 3 tbsp tempura bits
Toppings
- Takoyaki sauce as needed
- Mayonnaise as needed
- Bonito flakes as needed
- Aonori as needed
Cooking Oil
- A small amount of salad oil
LANGKAH
Cut the boiled octopus into small bite-sized pieces.
Slice the green onion thinly and squeeze out excess moisture from the pickled ginger before chopping.
Mix the batter ingredients (okonomiyaki flour, egg, and water) in a bowl until smooth.
Lightly grease the takoyaki pan with salad oil and heat to medium temperature. Pour the batter into the molds, filling them up to 90% height. Add octopus, green onion, pickled ginger, and tempura bits. Pour more batter to slightly overflow the molds.
Serve the takoyaki on a plate, brush with takoyaki sauce, drizzle mayonnaise, and sprinkle bonito flakes and aonori.
