Fish
- 🐟 2 fillets sea bass
Vegetables
- 🌱 4 okra pods
Seasoning
- 🧂 Pinch of salt and pepper
Flour
- 1 tbsp all-purpose flour
Oil
- 2 tsp vegetable oil
Sauce Ingredients
- 💧 100 ml water
- 1/2 tsp Japanese dashi powder
- 1 tbsp sake
- 1 tbsp mirin
- 🧂 1 tbsp soy sauce
Thickener
- 2 tsp cornstarch
- 💧 2 tsp water
LANGKAH
Rub okra with a pinch of salt, rinse under water, trim the ends, and slice into small pieces.
Season sea bass fillets with salt and pepper, then coat with all-purpose flour.
Heat vegetable oil in a pan, cook sea bass over low heat for 3 minutes on each side until fully cooked, then remove.
Wipe the pan clean, add water, dashi powder, sake, mirin, and soy sauce. Bring to a boil, add okra, and simmer for 1 minute. Stir in cornstarch slurry to thicken.
Plate the sea bass and pour the okra sauce over it.
