Rice Bowl Ingredients
- 500g thinly sliced pork belly
- 🧅 1 whole onion, sliced
- 🧅 1/2 stalk green onion, sliced
- 1 chili pepper, optional
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds
- 🍚 Cooked rice, as needed
Seasoning
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp mirin
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- 🍬 1 tbsp sugar
- 🧂 A pinch of black pepper
LANGKAH
Slice the pork belly, onion, and green onion into thin pieces.
Cook the pork belly in a pan without oil until the fat renders.
Add 1 tbsp sugar to the pork belly and stir-fry.
Add sliced onion and green onion to the pan and stir-fry over medium heat.
Add soy sauce, mirin, oyster sauce, black pepper, and optional chili pepper. Stir-fry until the vegetables are tender.
Simmer the mixture on low heat for 5 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
Plate the cooked rice in a bowl.
Top the rice with the pork belly mixture and sprinkle sesame seeds.
