BAHAN-BAHAN
Rice
- π 2 cups washed rice
Seafood
- π 2 fillets fresh salmon
Vegetables
- 1 piece ginger, sliced
- 1/2 bunch mitsuba, chopped
Seasoning
- π§ Pinch of salt
Cooking Condiments
- 2 tbsp sake
- 1 tbsp mirin
- 1 tsp soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp dashi powder
- π§ 420 ml water
Finishing Condiments
- π§ Pinch of salt
- 1 tsp soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp dashi powder
- π§ 300 ml water
LANGKAH
Cut mitsuba into 1 cm pieces and slice ginger. Sprinkle salt on both sides of the salmon fillets.
Add rice, ginger, and the β seasonings to the clay pot. Mix well.
Place the salmon on top, cover the pot, and heat on medium until boiling.
Reduce to low heat and cook for 15 minutes. Increase to medium-high heat for 30β40 seconds to create a crispy bottom, then turn off the heat and let it steam for 10 minutes.
Add 2/3 of the mitsuba on top, flake the salmon, and mix gently with the rice.
For the finishing touch, when 1/3 of the rice remains, add the β seasonings and heat on high until boiling. Stir well and top with the remaining mitsuba.
