- 18 shiso leaves
Oil
- Enough salad oil for frying
Miso Mixture
- 🌰 50g roasted walnuts
- 🍬 30g sugar
- 50g miso
- 🌾 1 tbsp white sesame seeds
- A pinch of chili powder
- 🌾 1 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 1 tbsp salad oil
LANGKAH
Finely chop the roasted walnuts.
Mix all the miso mixture ingredients in a bowl to create walnut miso paste.
Divide the walnut miso paste into 18 portions, shape them into sticks, and wrap each with a shiso leaf. Secure three rolls together with a toothpick.
Heat salad oil in a frying pan to 170°C (1cm depth). Fry the rolls until the shiso leaves are crispy, turning occasionally.
