- 🐙 240g boiled octopus, cut into pieces
- 🌱 10 snap peas, halved
Batter
- 🥚 1 egg
- 🌾 2 tbsp flour
- 1 tbsp potato starch
- 1-2 tsp shichimi togarashi
- 60ml carbonated water
Additional Ingredients
- 🌾 Flour as needed
- Frying oil as needed
- Shichimi togarashi for garnish
LANGKAH
Cut the boiled octopus into bite-sized pieces and halve the snap peas.
Prepare the batter by mixing the egg, flour, potato starch, shichimi togarashi, and carbonated water until smooth.
Coat the octopus and snap peas lightly with flour before dipping them into the batter.
Heat the frying oil to 180°C (356°F) and fry the coated octopus and snap peas until golden brown.
Drain the fried items on paper towels and sprinkle with shichimi togarashi for garnish.
