BAHAN-BAHAN
Main Ingredients
- 1 block tofu
- 🌰 1 handful nuts
- 5 green chilies
- 🧅 A small amount of spring onion
- 3 tbsp cooking oil
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds
Braising Sauce
- 🧄 1 tbsp minced garlic
- 4 tbsp soy sauce
- 4 tbsp cooking syrup
- 💧 4 tbsp water
LANGKAH
Prepare the tofu by removing excess moisture and chop the spring onion and green chilies.
Make the braising sauce by combining soy sauce, cooking syrup, water, and minced garlic in a pan. Simmer until reduced by half.
Cut the tofu into small cubes and finely chop the spring onion and green chilies.
Heat cooking oil in a pan and fry the tofu cubes until golden on all sides.
Add the nuts to the pan and lightly stir-fry with the tofu.
Pour the braising sauce into the pan and simmer until the sauce is fully absorbed.
Add the green chilies and stir-fry briefly. Drizzle sesame oil and sprinkle sesame seeds.
Garnish with chopped spring onion and serve.
