Rice
- 🍚 1 bowl (200g) of cooked rice
Seafood
- 🦑 80g sashimi-grade squid
Herbs
- 2 shiso leaves, thinly sliced
Toppings
- A pinch of white toasted sesame seeds
- 5g shredded nori
- 🥚 1 onsen egg
Seasoning
- 🧂 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp mirin
LANGKAH
Slice the shiso leaves thinly and set aside.
Mix soy sauce and mirin in a microwave-safe container. Heat uncovered at 600W for 30 seconds, then let it cool to make the marinade.
Add the squid to the marinade, mix well, cover with plastic wrap, and refrigerate for about 10 minutes.
In a bowl, mix the cooked rice with toasted sesame seeds gently.
Serve the rice in a bowl, sprinkle shredded nori on top, add the marinated squid, shiso leaves, and finish with the onsen egg.
