BAHAN-BAHAN
Rice
- π 1/2 cup sticky rice
- π§ 200 ml water
Vegetables
- π₯¬ 100 g bok choy
- π§ 1/2 onion, minced
Meat
- π 200 g ground pork
Seasonings
- 1 tbsp potato starch
- 1 tbsp sake
- π¬ 1/2 tsp sugar
- π§ 1/2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1/2 tsp grated ginger
- π§ Pinch of salt and pepper
LANGKAH
Wash sticky rice and soak in water for at least 3 hours.
Mince the onion and cut bok choy into quarters.
Mix all β ingredients in a bowl until sticky and well combined.
Divide the meat mixture into 12 portions, shape into balls, and coat with sticky rice.
Place the shumai on a cooking sheet in a pan with water. Add bok choy around the shumai, cover, and steam for 10β13 minutes over medium heat.
