BAHAN-BAHAN
Vegetables
- 130g garlic scapes, cut into 4-5cm pieces
- 40g chopped green onion
- 🧅 40g sliced onion
Condiments
- 🧄 1/2 tbsp minced garlic
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp corn syrup
Oils and Garnishes
- 2 tbsp cooking oil
- 1/2 tbsp sesame oil
- A pinch of sesame seeds
LANGKAH
Prepare the ingredients: slice the onion, cut garlic scapes into 4-5cm pieces, and chop the green onion.
Heat 2 tbsp of cooking oil in a pan and add the chopped green onion. Stir-fry until the surface turns golden brown.
Add the sliced onion to the pan and stir-fry for 30 seconds to coat it with the green onion oil.
Add the garlic scapes to the pan and stir-fry for another 30 seconds.
Add 1/2 tbsp of minced garlic and stir-fry for 30 seconds until fragrant.
Push the ingredients to the side of the pan and pour 2 tbsp of soy sauce in two batches. Stir and cook until the sauce reduces by half.
Add 1 tbsp of corn syrup and stir-fry for 30 seconds to combine evenly.
Turn off the heat, drizzle 1/2 tbsp of sesame oil, and sprinkle sesame seeds on top.
Transfer to a serving dish and enjoy the sweet and savory stir-fried garlic scapes.
