BAHAN-BAHAN
Chicken
- 🍗 8 chicken drumsticks (480g)
Oil
- Sufficient amount of salad oil
Marinade
- 1 tbsp sake
- 🧂 1/2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp yuzu kosho
Coating
- 🥚 1 beaten egg
- 🌾 3 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 3 tbsp potato starch
LANGKAH
Make two vertical cuts along the bone of each chicken drumstick.
Place the drumsticks and marinade ingredients (sake, soy sauce, yuzu kosho) into a plastic bag. Massage the bag to coat the chicken evenly, seal it, and refrigerate for 15 minutes.
Take the bag out of the refrigerator, add the beaten egg, and massage the bag again to mix. Add the flour and potato starch, and massage until evenly coated.
Heat salad oil in a frying pan to 170°C (3cm depth). Fry the chicken without touching for 5 minutes. Once the surface sets, turn the chicken and fry for another 3 minutes. Remove the chicken and increase the oil temperature to 180°C. Fry again until golden brown, turning for about 3 minutes.
