INGREDIENTI
Main Ingredients
- 🍗 600g chicken thighs
- 150g rice cakes
- 💧 1L water
- 1 tbsp baking soda
- 2 green tea bags
- 🌰 1 tbsp sesame seeds
Sauce Ingredients
- 2 green chilies, chopped
- 2 tbsp gochujang
- 🧄 3 tbsp minced garlic
- 4 tbsp corn syrup
- 🍬 3 tbsp sugar
- 4 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp red pepper powder
- 2 tbsp cooking wine
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- 🍅 2 tbsp ketchup
- 1 tbsp beef stock powder
- 1/3 tbsp black pepper
PASSI
Mix water with baking soda and soak chicken thighs for at least 3 hours.
Chop green chilies into small pieces.
Line a pot with parchment paper and sprinkle green tea leaves from the tea bags.
Place the soaked chicken thighs on a rack over the tea leaves and cover. Smoke on low heat for 10 minutes.
Combine smoked chicken thighs, rice cakes, and all sauce ingredients in a bowl. Mix well and marinate in the fridge for 1 hour.
Heat a pan and stir-fry the marinated ingredients over medium heat until the chicken is fully cooked and rice cakes are tender.
Sprinkle sesame seeds on top and serve. Optionally, use a torch to lightly char the chicken for extra smoky flavor.
