INGREDIENTI
Main Ingredients
- 1 can canned mackerel
- 3 slices radish
- 100 ml water
- 1 can mackerel broth
- 1/2 stalk green onion
- 1 chili pepper
- A pinch of sesame seeds
- 1 tbsp perilla oil
- A pinch of black pepper
Seasoning
- 4 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp mirin
- 1/2 tbsp minced garlic
- 1 tbsp corn syrup
- 1 tbsp red pepper flakes
PASSI
Place radish slices at the bottom of a pot, add 100 ml water, cover with a lid, and simmer on low heat for 10 minutes.
Separate the canned mackerel broth into a bowl and cut the mackerel into pieces using scissors.
Mix all seasoning ingredients into the mackerel broth. Adjust soy sauce quantity if you prefer less salty flavors.
Place the mackerel on top of the radish slices, pour the seasoning mixture over, and simmer on medium heat until the sauce thickens.
When the sauce reduces and the radish starts to show, add green onion and chili pepper.
Simmer uncovered until the sauce is almost gone and the radish turns translucent. Finish with sesame seeds and 1 tbsp perilla oil.
