INGREDIENTI
Meat
- 300g ground meat (beef and pork mix)
Vegetables
- 🥕 1 carrot, minced and grated
- 🧅 1/4 onion, minced
Binder
- 🥚 1 egg, beaten
- 4 tbsp breadcrumbs
Seasoning
- 🧂 1/3 tsp salt
- Pinch of pepper
Cooking Oil
- 1/2 tbsp salad oil
Sauce
- 1 tbsp sake
- 🍅 2 tbsp ketchup
- 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
PASSI
Cut the carrot in half; mince one half and grate the other. Mince the onion.
Place the minced carrot and onion in a microwave-safe container, cover loosely with plastic wrap, and microwave at 600W for 1 minute. Let cool.
In a bowl, mix ground meat, breadcrumbs, salt, and pepper until sticky. Add the cooled vegetables and beaten egg, and mix thoroughly to form the meat mixture.
Heat a frying pan with salad oil spread evenly using a paper towel. Add the meat mixture, flatten it evenly with your hands, and cook over medium heat for 3 minutes. Cover with a lid and steam over low heat for 10 minutes.
Place a plate slightly smaller than the frying pan over the meat mixture, flip the pan, and slide the meat back into the pan. Cook for another 4–5 minutes and remove. Cut into 6 equal portions.
Add the sauce ingredients (sake, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce) to the pan and heat over medium heat, stirring for 1 minute until thickened. Serve the hamburger steak with the sauce poured over.
