INGREDIENTI
Main Ingredients
- 4 chikuwa
- 🧀 2 slices of cheese
- 1/2 sheet nori
- White sesame seeds, as needed
Sweet and Savory Sauce
- 🍬 1 tsp sugar
- 1/2 tbsp soy sauce
PASSI
Cut the cheese slices into 4 vertical strips each to form rectangles. Cut the nori into 8 long strips.
Slice the chikuwa in half lengthwise. Place the cut side up, layer a strip of nori and a strip of cheese on top, then roll tightly from the edge. Secure with a toothpick. Repeat to make 8 rolls.
Mix sugar and soy sauce in a bowl until the sugar dissolves to create the sweet and savory sauce.
Place the rolls on a baking tray lined with aluminum foil. Drizzle the sauce evenly over the rolls, sprinkle sesame seeds, and bake in a toaster oven for about 5 minutes until lightly browned.
