    • 1 tsp okonomiyaki sauce for noodles

    • 2 tbsp okonomiyaki sauce
    • 1 tbsp mayonnaise
    • 1 pack (4g) bonito flakes
    • 1/2 tsp aonori (seaweed powder)

Place yakisoba noodles in a microwave-safe container, cover loosely with plastic wrap, and microwave at 600W for 90 seconds. Add 1 tsp of okonomiyaki sauce and mix well.

Put yam in a plastic bag and crush it with a rolling pin until finely mashed.

Add egg, flour, salt, and dashi powder to the bag and mix thoroughly.

Cut chives into 3cm pieces using scissors and add them to the bag along with cabbage, bean sprouts, and pork slices. Mix well to form the batter.

Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan. Pour 2/3 of the batter into the pan, spread the yakisoba noodles evenly on top, and cover with the remaining batter. Cook over medium heat until golden brown.

Flip the pancake, cover with a lid, and steam-fry on low heat for about 8 minutes. Cut into 4 pieces and serve with okonomiyaki sauce, mayonnaise, bonito flakes, and aonori.
