INGREDIENTI
Meat
- 10 slices pork loin (150g)
Vegetables
- 150g lotus root
Seasoning
- 🧂 Pinch of salt and pepper
- 1 tbsp potato starch
- 1 tbsp salad oil
Garlic Miso Sauce
- 🧄 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp sake
- 1 tbsp mirin
- 1 tbsp miso
Garnish
- 1 tsp white sesame seeds
PASSI
Cut the lotus root in half lengthwise, then slice into 5mm thick pieces (10 slices). Soak in water and drain. Mince the garlic.
Season the pork slices with salt and pepper, then coat with potato starch.
Place a slice of lotus root at one end of the pork and roll tightly. Repeat for all 10 rolls.
Mix the garlic miso sauce ingredients (garlic, sake, mirin, miso) in a bowl.
Heat salad oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Place the rolls seam-side down and cook until browned. Flip and add 1 tbsp water, cover, and steam for 3 minutes. Pour the garlic miso sauce over and coat evenly.
Plate the rolls and sprinkle with white sesame seeds.
